Effective Date: July 7, 2026

SMS Messaging Program Terms

These SMS Terms & Conditions describe the rules for text messaging sent by Oregon Certified & Qualified Interpreters' Network Inc. ("OCIN", "we", "us"). By opting in to receive messages, you agree to these terms.

1. Program Description

OCIN SMS messages are used for business and operational communications, including assignment alerts, schedule confirmations, appointment updates, reminders, and urgent service coordination.

2. Opt-In and Consent

You agree to receive SMS messages by providing your mobile number and opting in through OCIN forms, portals, or written onboarding processes. Consent is not required as a condition of purchase.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies by role, assignment volume, and scheduling activity. We do not guarantee a minimum or maximum number of messages.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply based on your wireless plan and carrier terms. You are responsible for any charges billed by your carrier.

5. STOP and HELP Instructions

To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any OCIN message. After opting out, you may receive one final confirmation message. For support, reply HELP or contact us at privacy@oregoncertified.com or 503-213-3191.

6. Eligibility and User Responsibilities

You must provide a valid mobile number and promptly update OCIN if your number changes. You represent that you are authorized to enroll the number provided and that messages can be received on that device.

7. Service Availability

SMS delivery depends on third-party wireless networks and systems. OCIN does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free delivery. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Privacy

Your use of OCIN SMS services is also governed by our SMS Privacy Policy and Privacy Policy, which explain how we collect, use, and protect information.

9. Program Changes and Termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue SMS messaging at any time, including changing short codes, sender IDs, or message categories. We may also update these terms periodically by posting a revised version on this page.
